Personality

Positive:
   - Calm - As mentioned previously as her nature, Nicolai does not get angry or shocked easily. In certain tense situation, she is able to think logically and calmly about solving certain issues. She is able to use strategy more effectively for her small size instead of using brute force with her moves. Nicolai can seem to have a soothing voice or create pleasant smells with Aromatherapy which could calm others down, or make it worse, who knows!
   - Helper - Nicolai is always helping towards other combatants, trainees, young ones and leaders even if she never shows loyalty in the slightest, she will try to help out without revealing how supportive she can be.
   - Brave - Nicolai can show acts of heroism towards others, she will try to stand up against much stronger opponents even if she cannot defeat them.

Neutral:
   - Introvert - She is quiet and prefers not to be noticed. She always prefers to be on her own despite being supportive of others. She is always into her own thoughts and feelings rather than communicating with others, but Nicolai will watch over other people using her small body as an advantage to not being seen, so she can see what is going on and try to solve it with her ideas.
   - Mysterious - Nicolai can be very difficult to understand from other pokemon as she isn't that open towards them. Others won't be able to understand why she is preferring to be on her own but helps them with no reason to. Maybe befriending her somehow would seek answers?

Negative:
    - Rebellious - Nicolai does not tend to listen to others very well in face to face conversation and can disobey at times, which could lead to annoyance between other pokemon. However, she will do her job eventually and effectively which balances out the situation.
    - Sassy - Although she is quiet and calm at times. She can get angry or arrogant eventually, and will throw a sassy mood, being sarcastic, rude and cheeky.
    - Somewhat Fatalistic - Nicolai will always assume that some events are predetermined and that there's nothing that can be done about it as she thinks it is inevitable.

- Year 9 - A newborn
Hello, I am Sir Norm, I have been provided by this title of honour from a particular person from a particular region where I was a former gym leader but I will not go into further discussion about this. After many researches onto pokemon, specifically battling, I have been invited to this facility to experiment on genetics for Pokémon. My main purpose was to create a powerful pokemon that I can use for... --ERROR!: 01101110 01101111-- ...but I told my other colleagues that it was just research. Although, fire and fairy types are not my speciality, I have grown to a particular liking of Flabébé and Litwick. With permission, I was able to follow through the hybrid experiment with the use of the genes from a local Flabébé from the Kalos region and an uncommon Litwick from Celestial tower in Unova region. Here is how the results lay out. The date listed is from when the hybrid was born, I am hoping for success here.

First day: Success! The hybrid was hatched after many failed attempts. I was beginning to give up and move back to my own region after this. I was tired of being jealous of how other scientists were able to successfully breed their hybrids. I may not have a profession, but I am a skilled battler. Anyway, the hybrid seemed confused, having no clue what is going on, not sure who to trust. It seems strange at first, it looked like a Flabébé made of wax, holding a blue flame on its hands.

1 Month later: It turned out that this pokemon is a female which is to be expected as the Flabébé can only have one gender. She seems to make a strange noise, almost like a combination of both Litwick and Flabébé's cries. It's hard to describe but it is like a "FlaLiLi!".

3 Months later: Apparently there has been deaths of Hybrids occuring in the battle arena. I do not feel like this hybrid is not ready for a battle of any kind. I seem to have grow fond to this particular hybrid, despite... how weird it looks with the wax and everything. I shall name her "Nicolai" for now, after a favourite person of mine from my home town. No, I am not feeling home sick.

6 Months later: I hear noises coming from the other rooms. I feel like the other hybrids that my colleagues have created have become restless. Nicolai seems to have no clue what is going on, then again, she has been with me the entire time. I just hide her from the other scientists in case they come in. Silly "Scientists" are worried over nothing, these pokemon don't attack their owners, foolish idea!

1 year later: Ah! The hybrid has seemed to evolved! She is now a combination of a Floette and Lampent, just as expected. However, she does not seem to follow my orders as much as she used to as a Flabébé hybrid. Has something happened between her and the other hybrids in the facility? I know this is common between trainers who are not skilled enough to control their pokemon, but this is hybrids we're talking about. We created them from scratch, so they should follow what we do, correct? Also, what's this about other scientists talking about "Butterfly" and "Ghost"?

1 year, 3 months later: Okay, so what I have heard as I'm typing this. My colleagues have told me that this Butterfly was actually the first hybrid. She seems odd. My hybrid, Nicolai, seems to be quite interested in that pokemon. I don't know what it is, but something about her seems a little off. Was she looking at me for something? I'm not that much of an important guy though, so I don't see how I would... Oh, and "Ghost"? That's an albino Umbreon, seems to be a like a bodyguard or something. I should keep Nicolai away for now, I don't want to see her get involved in this.

1 year, 6 months later: I'm panicking! Nicolai was nowhere to be seen! It's not like for her to go missing like that. Has the other hybrids been influencing her or motivating her in some form of way? Interesting.

1 Year, 6 months later, 1 week later: Oh, thank Arceus, I found her. I been looking for her for weeks! I--- wait. There's something odd and different about her. She seems a bit different, like something has changed her. She seemed a bit more disobedience, and stronger than she was last week. I do feel like the hybrids area ctually influencing her. Are they plotting to do something. Maybe it is Butterfly who is influencing her. I have heard that hybrid has been messing around with information, like she's collecting something and then passing it down to other hybrids, trying to change their minds. I feel like this could be changing Nicolai's opinion on us scientists maybe. It is a bit... inhumane?... inpokemane? to have these guys trapped down here but we can't let them go, how will they survive the natural environment?

1 Year 7 months later: Okay... I unfortunately fell asleep whilst researching. The lab is quite creepy when it is dark. I woke up from a strange noise... and Nicolai was gone again. It looked like something tried to burn the door from the inside. I believe it was Nicolai. I will go out and search for her, I will report back on what happened next.

1 Year 7 Months later, 2 hours later: I'm back. This is reminding me of a dream that I had, where the pokemon trapped in here break out and attempt to kill us and I feel like that's probably what is happening now. Anyway, did I find her? No, but I did find burn marks around walls, vents, other doors, even other hybrid cages. It's like someone was attempting to burn or melt stuff but it didn't really work out. This isn't what Nicolai is like though, it can't be her!

1 Year 7 Months later, 4 hours later: I fell asleep and woke back up again from the same noise earlier. Nicolai is back and sleeping peacefully, like nothing even happened. Maybe it was a dream? No it can't be. I wrote the records from earlier! I believe Nicolai is involved with the other hybrids in something.. I don't know what it is, but I will find out. I'm going to place a secret camera on the hybrid to see where she goes the next night.

1 Year 7 Months later, 1 day later: Okay, it's the same time as it was. Let see where she goes.

1 Year, 7 Months later, 1 day later, 2 hours later: Okay, I got back the footage from Nicolai, but she seemed really shocked at first, and then got cross. She tried to take the camera away from me, like she knew what it was. I had to put her back in her cage, she isn't herself. Okay, uploading video... Okay, the video shows her patrolling down a dark corridor, then a figure pops out of the shadows then... damn it! The video cuts off. Maybe it was another hybrid, and they were planning something together, to get out of this forsaken lab. I should tell the other colleagues.

1 Year 7 Months Later, 2 days later: They think I'm crazy! Fine, I'll just let them see it for themselves.

1 year 8 months later: Nicolai doesn't obey me at all anymore yet she is very fond of me, it's almost as if I'm an unskilled trainer who doesn't have enough badges yet still care for their pokemon. I may accept a few disobeys here and there, I am not used to controlling a hybrid anyway. Hopefully she does not turn against me, I am her creator after all. I know this is not relevant to my hybrid pokemon, but armed people came into the facility, they wouldn't let me in to see what was going on, I heard a lot of gunfire and screaming. I asked what was going on, and again, it's about Butterfly and Ghost. They're leading this rebellion and they want out. I cannot get in to take a look at Nicolai, I fear she is part of the rebellion and wants out too.

1 year 11 months later: After all of the rebellion had happened, everything seemed to went back to normal, like nothing happened. I asked one of the scientist about what was going on, they just said "It's a long story." and saying about how Ghost got shot but Butterfly healed him. I guess from that moment, it really shocked Nicolai and she fled before she saw the rest of the rebellion, because as soon as I met her, she became a bit more affectionate for me like she almost had a death experience or something, I don't blame her though. Still, she doesn't obey me, but everything else seems to be fine and in order. I must get back to my home region for now, I'll report back when I do get back eventually.

2 years later: Okay, it has been exactly 2 years since this hybrid was born. I was able to have a week off and decided to visit the facility. Everything seems to be back in order, no rebellion, Nicolai isn't sneaking off anymore, none of that. In fact, it seems like Nicolai is quite happy to see me as I came back, she tried to hug but almost waved that dangerous flame near me, haha! Silly floette/lampent. Seems like there's a lot more hybrid pokemons then there was before, I guess new scientists are experimenting again. They have had too many pokemon so they split them into groups based on their skills. Nicolai was put with the Special Defence group, she seems quite okay about that, very nervous about going to the group and trying to socialise. I feel like she isn't the most socialising pokemon there. I unfortunately won't be around for a while, so it'll take a long time for me to report back on what has happened, but I hope that Nicolai will do well and maybe one day, we'll let her out into the sunshine. Man, she probably doesn't even know what the sun is!

2 years, 6 months later: I know it has been quite a while since I last wrote my report. All is well. Apparently the scientists have decided to make certain hybrids become leaders of squadrons of each stat, I do hope they aren't going to rebel like previously. I'm not seeing the hybrid as much as I used to as I have been occupied with gym stuff back at home. However, I do see her from time to time to see how she is getting on. Nicolai seems to be a lot stronger than she was before, so it is confirmed that other hybrids are taking good care of her. Some of the hybrids seemed to have created a "second-in-command" for each of the squadrons, I feel like she is inspired by that and wishes to become one herself. She still disobeys, but I feel like she's doing that just to annoy me, I can see it in her eyes. I may not have been accomplishing my original goal for this experiment, but so far, this has turned out to be alright. I do worry if anything has happened to her. Yes I have grown fond of the hybrid pokemon, just like a normal trainer would really. I will continue my current reports as soon as possible when I come back from my home region.

3 years: Okay, it has been exactly 3 years since the birth of the hybrid. I decided to update her file finally. The other scientists are going to take a look to make sure that everything is correct. They will obviously read this report too as it is a evidence of how this pokemon's characteristics are developed. Nicolai seems quite calm now, but doesn't seem to socialise well with the other pokemon and is pulling that same disobedience nature that she pulled on me but upon the others. Hopefully that will change soon.
